Alato Reflects on Global Reception of Debut Arvet Collection
Alato Watches reflects on the reception of its debut model, the Arvet, which launched in 2024. The brand highlights that the timepiece, inspired by the geometry of the Reuleaux Triangle, has already reached collectors in over 34 different countries. Founder Pierre Strömbäck has leaned into a "slow watch design" philosophy rooted in his background in architecture and civil engineering to create a brand focused on long-term meaning rather than nostalgia.
The Arvet Automatic is a 38mm watch featuring 100 meters of water resistance and a design language that integrates geometric themes across the dial, case, and rotor. Verified buyers have specifically noted the high-quality finish, the stunning texture on the dial, and the practical features of the bracelet, which includes screwed-in links, a quick-adjust clasp, and fast-release spring bars.
The brand has gained traction in the horological press, earning features in Worn & Wound’s Microbrand Digest and being named one of the "Best Microbrand Watches to Buy in July 2025" by Oracle Time. Industry experts have described Alato as a brand focused on proportion and personality, opting for a refined aesthetic rather than an aggressive marketing push. The brand continues to build its community from its base in Gothenburg, Sweden.
