Bausele Announces Community-Designed Elemental Watch Release
Bausele has announced the upcoming release of the Elemental, a watch created through a collaborative design process involving 400 community members over an 18-month period. Instead of a traditional design team approach, every technical decision and detail was put to a community vote and refined based on feedback. The watch is sold as a made-to-order piece, meaning production only begins once an order is placed, ensuring each watch is built specifically for the customer.
Key technical features highlighted in the announcement include a community-voted bezel design, a specialized bracelet, and an on-the-fly micro-adjustment system for the clasp. A notable horological detail is the inclusion of an internal cyclops lens, which is built directly inside the sapphire crystal rather than on the surface. These specifications were debated and refined by the community throughout the long-term development phase.
The brand has issued a 15-hour countdown for the next stage of availability, noting that the previous allocation of this model sold out rapidly. While the watch is not yet in stock, the next order window is scheduled to open on April 15. The brand emphasizes that this made-to-order production method is a commitment to community-led manufacturing rather than a standard retail release.
