Bernhardt Debuts Limited Edition Tempest and Starboard Field Watches

Bernhardt Watch Company has announced a 'field watch face-off' featuring two distinct limited edition models: the Tempest and the Starboard. Both watches are powered by a premium automatic movement featuring a precision rating of +/- 5 seconds per day. A notable technical highlight for both editions is a specially modified sub-dial that completes one rotation every 24 hours to provide a sun and moon phase depiction. The Tempest is designed for versatility between rugged use and formal wear, featuring a titanium carbide-coated case and a forged carbon dial that ensures every piece is unique. In contrast, the Starboard Seafarer Field Watch offers a nautical aesthetic with a brushed stainless steel case and an ocean-blue textured dial reminiscent of a ship's deck. Both models utilize Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers for high readability in low-light conditions. Each model is strictly limited to 100 numbered pieces. Bernhardt emphasizes its American roots with the Starboard, noting that final assembly, testing, and regulation are completed in the United States. While the Tempest focuses on a dark, stormy aesthetic, the Starboard is positioned as a timepiece for nautical adventure.
