DuFrane Updates Butterfly Clasp Availability and Stock Status

DuFrane Updates Butterfly Clasp Availability and Stock Status

DuFrane has provided an update on the popular spring-loaded butterfly clasps introduced earlier this year. The brand reported higher-than-expected demand and is currently sold out of the 18mm size designed for 20mm curved end leather straps. Based on customer feedback, DuFrane is implementing minor design adjustments for the next batch, which will delay the restock of this specific size for a couple of months. In the meantime, 18mm butterfly clasps remain available for the brand's Epsom leather straps. Founder Steven Murphy also highlighted the Barton Springs Lagoon model, noting that only about 10 pieces remain in stock. The seafoam-colored watch is presented as a seasonal option alongside the new Palmera diver from Jack Mason, a fellow member of the Texas Watchmakers Collective. The update also touched on brand milestones and local lifestyle recommendations. The DuFrane YouTube channel is approaching 1,000 subscribers, and the brand is seeking input from enthusiasts regarding future content such as assembly tutorials or behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, Murphy recommended the Austin-based distillery Milam and Greene, sharing details from a recent private whiskey tasting event in the Texas Hill Country.
