Formex has announced a new collaboration with their Parisian boutique partner, Ocarat, to release the Reef 39.5mm Blue Coral Édition Spéciale. This limited edition dive watch features a unique dial crafted from genuine fossilized coral sourced from ancient reefs in Sumatra. Because the dials are made from natural fossilized material where trace minerals provide a distinctive blue tone, no two watches in the series are identical. The release is limited to only 50 individually numbered pieces and is available exclusively through Ocarat's boutique in Paris or their online store. The fossilization process involved silica replacing the original coral structure over millions of years, preserving the organic patterns of the corallites. International customers should note that these timepieces ship from France and may be subject to local taxes and duties upon arrival.
