Malm Unveils Hand-Painted Art Dalton J35 UTC and Chronograph 41
Malm is expanding its Art Anniversary Edition collection with the introduction of two new models: the Art Dalton J35 UTC Automatic and the Chronograph 41. These releases serve as a tribute to the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Swedish Air Force in 2026. Both models are now available for order through the brand's online store.
The defining feature of these timepieces is the hand-painted dial, which is executed in-house by Malm upon order. Each dial features unique artwork inspired by the J35 Draken, a supersonic fighter aircraft that represents a significant era in Swedish aviation history. By painting these dials individually, the brand ensures that every watch produced in this series is a one-of-a-kind art piece.
The release is deeply rooted in the brand's heritage and location in Linköping, often referred to as the capital of Swedish aviation development. Since the Swedish Air Force's establishment in 1926, the country has been recognized for its independent aircraft engineering and industrial design. Malm intends for these watches to bring together watchmaking, art, and aviation history to honor a century of soaring innovation.
