Ming Announces 2025 Roadmap and New Retail Partnerships
Ming has announced several strategic expansions and upcoming projects for 2025, including the establishment of a permanent Swiss office in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The brand also revealed its first retail partnership with Collective Horology in California, which began in January 2025. This move is part of a broader plan to expand their retail and service partner network to improve accessibility and customer support for owners.
Beyond infrastructure, Ming highlighted its collaboration with J.N. Shapiro and Fleming to form the Alternative Horological Alliance (AHA). This partnership aims to promote independent watchmaking through open collaboration, recently resulting in the launch of a new tantalum bracelet. The brand emphasizes a commitment to honesty and sustainable growth while maintaining a design philosophy that rewards extended observation.
Looking ahead to the remainder of 2025, the brand teased several major developments including new case families, new movements, and the return of a metal not used in recent years. Most notably, Ming announced the upcoming release of its first chronograph priced under $10,000. Enthusiasts can also expect more physical brand presence at watch weeks and events, alongside a monthly newsletter titled 'Journal'.
