Monterey Watch Co. has announced the upcoming release of the EBC GMT Professional, a 42mm GMT watch scheduled to debut in late May. This new model is part of a series of five timepieces promised for this spring, all featuring upgrades in steel quality, movements, and overall performance. The watch is designed for versatility with "Go Anywhere, Do Anything" (GADA) specifications, including 200 meters of water resistance and a 316L stainless steel case. The EBC GMT Professional will be available in two distinct colorways: Arctic White and Abyss Black. The Arctic White version features a ceramic fixed bezel insert, an orange GMT hand, and dual lume treatments. The Abyss Black version utilizes C1 lume, a steel bezel insert, and a red GMT hand. Both models are powered by the Peacock SL3032 high-beat movement and feature a domed sapphire crystal, enlarged indices, and a custom three-link bracelet with a push-button clasp. Retail pricing for the EBC GMT Professional is set at $519 upon its release. However, the brand is offering a $100 discount to customers who use the code GMTPRO at checkout within 24 hours of the announcement, bringing the price down to $419. The watch also includes a custom caseback featuring a compass-rose design.
