The UWO Z-01 is a newly announced Nixie tube watch developed by two students from the Warsaw University of Technology. Designed to be one of the most compact Nixie watches to date, it utilizes historic Z5900M Soviet Nixie tubes to display the time. The project has officially moved to the production phase with a Kickstarter campaign that is now live for backers. The watch features a case made from aerospace-grade Grade 5 titanium with a PVD finish and a sapphire crystal for durability. Despite the complex internal components, the timepiece weighs only 45 grams and maintains a thickness of 16.5 mm. This release is a limited edition of 250 pieces and includes water resistance for everyday wear.
