Serica Introduces the New Ref. 5330 Chronomètre de Plongée with Date

Serica has announced the launch of the new Ref. 5330, an evolution of their dive watch that introduces a date complication at 3 o’clock for the first time. The dial has been fully redesigned to maintain visual harmony, featuring a re-centered minute track and a date aperture that functions as a reflection of the 9 o'clock index. This new model will also serve as the official timekeeper for French adventurer Alexandre Gaye during his solo crossing of the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland. The Ref. 5330 features a matte black dial paired with an anthracite grey ceramic bezel insert, marking the first time this combination appears in the brand's regular production. The bezel scale has been simplified by removing the countdown markings, and the dial layout ensures legibility by preserving the 14’ and 16’ markers near the date window. The watch is currently available for pre-order, with deliveries scheduled to begin in early May 2026.
