    I have mixed feelings because while it stops some scratches, once you actually do manage to gouge the coating it looks much worse than raw steel. I'd rather just be able to buff out my watches myself once they get some character.

    I've had my Traska Summiteer for two years and it still looks like it just came out of the box despite me being a total klutz with it.

    It definitely helps, but remember it only protects against scratches, not deep dents. I have a Sinn with the Tegimented steel and the 1200 Vickers rating is a lifesaver when I accidentally bang it against a door frame.

    Honestly, it makes a huge difference if you hate desk diving scratches. I’ve had my Traska for a year and it still looks brand new compared to my other divers.
