Really, really dislike them. But then again I equally dislike date windows with microscopic numerals 🤷‍♂️

I personally don't mind the Cyclops. Has a cool look to me

I actually prefer a cyclops on my Traska since it makes the date much more legible, especially for an affordable daily driver you can usually snag for under 600 bucks on their official site.

I really struggle to get behind them because they ruin the symmetry of a clean dial. It usually looks like an afterthought that clutters up the crystal, tbh.

Hate them. A watch is ruled out for me if it has one

They usually feel like a lazy way to hide a poorly aligned date wheel or subpar printing. Unless the execution is flawless like you see on a Monta, I'd rather just have a clean sapphire crystal without the extra bump.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of cyclops magnification on a date window. Unless it's a Rolex with that perfect integration, it often feels like an afterthought. I much prefer a cleanly integrated date window, or even no date at all like on a Halios Seaforth.
