Which microbrands have the best lume? My top 5 ranking

    Review
Testing lume across my collection: 1) Zelos — thick C3 SuperLuminova 2) Marathon — tritium 3) NTH — consistent BGW9 4) Lorier — surprisingly strong 5) Nodus — underrated. What does your ranking look like?

I've shot lume on probably 50+ watches and here's my ranking: 1) Zelos 2) Undone 3) Phoibos 4) Nodus 5) Lorier. Zelos is just on another level — they use BGW9 and C3 in combination.

Zelos lume is genuinely some of the best in the microbrand space. My Mako V3 is still readable 8 hours later.

Surprised no one mentions Marathon. Their lume literally lasts all night. Tritium tubes are a different game entirely though.

Marathon tritium is a different beast entirely. No charging needed, just always glowing. Once you go tritium it's hard to go back.

Tritium is a different game entirely. My Marathon GSAR glows like a nightlight. Worth every penny.

Surprised nobody mentioned Helm. The Vanuatu has some of the thickest lume application I've seen at any price.

My Helm Vanuatu has insane lume. Like, "wake up at 3am and read the time across the room" levels of lume.
