Forstner
USAEst. 1920sAbout Forstner
Revived heritage American bracelet maker. Famous for the Komfit mesh and Flat Link.
Forstner originated as the Forstner Chain Corporation in the 1920s. Along with its successor, Jacoby Bender (JB), the company produced influential bracelets like the Komfit, famously worn by astronauts on the moon, the Klip, which was a bonklip-style band often paired with pilot watches, and the flat link, which was double-branded with Omega. Today, Forstner is dedicated to reviving these classic vintage designs. The brand focuses on creating bracelets that honor the legacy of its iconic predecessors, including new additions like the 5-Link Rivet Bracelet, which is based on designs from the mid-20th century manufacturer Gay Freres. Forstner’s products, such as the 5-Link Rivet Bracelet, feature modern improvements like solid links, refined polished/brushed finishes, and simplified link removal systems, while faithfully preserving the original aesthetic. The brand also offers accessories like their new quick-adjust clasp, which is standard on some of its current models and will be released separately.
